The traditional brown version of Grisport’s bestselling safety boot—proven in demanding workplaces and chosen repeatedly by customers who know what works.

The Contractor has become the number-one safety boot in the Grisport range by delivering the qualities working customers value most: dependable protection, lasting durability and comfort that stands up to long, demanding shifts.

Its rich brown leather upper gives the boot a classic workwear appearance that looks particularly at home in construction, agriculture, engineering, landscaping and outdoor trades. The leather remains breathable and is water resistant for up to one hour, providing practical protection in damp working conditions without being incorrectly described as fully waterproof.

S3-rated construction combines a protective steel toe cap with an anti-perforation steel midsole, helping shield the foot against impact, compression and sharp hazards underfoot. Anti-static properties provide additional protection across a broad range of working environments.

The robust outsole is resistant to grease and heat, with a shock-absorbing construction that helps reduce the impact of standing and walking on hard surfaces throughout the working day. Its aggressive, self-cleaning tread helps release mud and debris while maintaining dependable contact with the ground.

SRC-rated slip resistance demonstrates performance on both ceramic and steel test surfaces contaminated with common workplace lubricants. Grisport’s Support System helps stabilise the heel and reduce unwanted movement, while the secure lace-up design holds the foot firmly in position.

This is a reassuringly substantial safety boot built with traditional steel protection. It is not intended to compete with lightweight composite footwear; it is designed for customers who prioritise proven strength, durability and a solid, dependable feel.

Traditional in brown and trusted across thousands of repeat purchases, the Contractor is the dependable safety boot hardworking customers return to again and again.
