Grisport footwear is manufactured in Europe, with the vast majority of styles produced in Italy at Grisport’s own factory, one of the largest walking boot production facilities in Europe.

Using state-of-the-art robotic manufacturing and advanced production techniques, the factory produces over 20,000 pairs of boots per day. This highly controlled process ensures consistent quality, technical performance and exceptional value for money across the entire range.

Responsible Manufacturing at the Foot of the Dolomites

Most Grisport products are manufactured in Montebelluna, Italy, a historic footwear region located at the foot of the Dolomite Mountains.

Sustainability plays a key role in Grisport’s manufacturing process. Around 70% of the energy used in production is generated from solar power, supplied directly by Grisport’s on-site photovoltaic plant, one of the largest of its kind in Italy and the result of an investment of over £5 million.

This commitment to renewable energy significantly reduces carbon emissions while supporting long-term, environmentally responsible production.

Research, Technology & Innovation

Grisport’s dedicated research and design team, part of a workforce of over 2,000 people, focuses on delivering high-performance footwear using advanced materials and innovative construction methods.

Across the range, Grisport uses premium components such as Vibram outsoles and Sympatex membranes, alongside proprietary technologies developed in-house.

The company holds multiple patents for technical footwear innovations and also manufactures products for some of the world’s leading footwear brands, reinforcing its reputation as a trusted global producer.
